This Old school BMX Mongoose race bike between 1979-1983. Frame and all show signs of low wear/usage and good storage over the years. Bike appears almost untouched except for the front forks they appear to have been replaced. I don't know much about the immediate history of this bike or the historical background of the model. I priced low to let the buyers decide it true value. Looks like to be a great restorable bike and in great restorable condition. The MotoMags appear to be in excellent condition no scrapes dents or out-of-round. They are just a bit oxidized and are in need of polishing. Any schooling in the bike would be great I will post all comments/Knowledge sent to me. Seat is in good shape as well. Serial # is in picture

There seems to be alot of international interest with this item, I would consider International shipment, however It is expensive, for example to Scotland postal code PA11 3EP shipping is $410.00 US. If you email me your postal code I will give you a quote. This price does not include any duty or other fees that pertain to your country. Be sure I quote you on shipping before you bid.

On Nov-20-08 at 12:51:21 PST, seller added the following information:Packing, I wanted to add that I'm going to ship in a box that ships BMX bikes, I removed the front wheel, seat, peddles and handlebars. I took care in disassembly and making sure nothing will be rubbing during shipment. By the looks of this bike I would bet it has not been taken apart in any way since it was built. The front and rear axels have the plastic thread protectors still on them, the peddles are the gold anodised metal in emaculate condition. The handel bar yoak has the BMX padded "nut protector" still on. The tires hold air and also appear to be orignal. Hate to see it go really.Seems it will find a good home though. The only signs of rust is in the seat post and the handle bars where some paint has chipped off
On a shipping note I quoted the Scotland example above through UPS but USPS (United Stated Postal Service) is less than half @$181.00 US. So I will probably use USPS and will quote that way.
