ABOUT THE ARTIST & PAINTING:
Carl Brennir was born in Nottingham in 1850 and was a well known local and national artisy who specilaised in landscape scenes which were very reminiscent of Benjamin Williams Leader. The artist was elected a full member of the Nottingham Society fo Artists and also exhibited extensively at the following galleries:

Birmingham Art Gallery
Royal Academy
