 A Very Rare ,Early Pennsylvania Open Hearth ,Hand Wrought Iron Warming Shelf. This is one very rare piece of Iron !!!  It was used to warm foods while other items were being prepared for the Family Meals. It is entirely hand made ,and was made in the mid 1700's. It's condition is perfect ,and it has NO repairs !!! It has a light coat of sealer ,this will come off in about 5 minutes using any Paint Remover ,then the original surface will be revealed. It has a Rams Horn design on the bottom surface. It is in ready to use or display condition. I'm sure you don't have one of these at your fireplace ,only a few are known. It is guaranteed to be old ,and as described. It is out of a noted collection. I'll be listing 2 sets of outstanding sets of Hinges from the same collection tomorrow. It measures 12" high to the top of the carrying handle x 14" wide x about 11" deep. I'm selling it with NO reserve ,and only one penny to start. Insured shipping in the US only is 12.85. No second chance offers.Payment is due in 7 Days.
