Primitive Halloween Witch Doll

This is an original, One of A Kind,
Kathy's Prims design, by me.....Kathy Hunka!A gypsy fire is on the earth,
Sign of the carnival of mirth;
Through the dun fields and from the glade
Flash merry folk in masquerade,
For this is Hallowe'en!...... Unknown  Dru and Casey were made from aged osnaburg fabric. Dru is 28" tall including her removeable hat and Casey is 12" tall. I have needle scuplted their noses and painted and penciled on their faces. Dru has some great whispy wool hair and I needle felted it into her head. She is wearing a felt witches hat and I hand-stitched the orange ric rac on.
I love her retro, reproduction fabric I used for her dress. It is aged and has ric rac around her waist, sleeves and hem. Dru has a toile undershirt and painted on boots with floss laces.
Dru's arms are wired, like all my dollies, and she has wired, needle sculpted fingers. She is holding onto a great metal sign that reads, "The Witch Is In" and also has her other arm around her dolly, Casey the cat.
Casey has quilt shop fabrics for her shirt and dress and more ric rac stitched on. Two, tiny black buttons were added on the front of her shirt and her paws are needle sculpted as well.
This doll set would look grear hanging up or sitting in a chair.
