1979 Carlson Glastron Jet Boat - Project Boat - NO RESERVE -
Designed by industrial designer Art Carlson - You will not find a more
timeless designed power boat, the back of the boat slopes to the water level making
it a very unique design
This boat is a classic and need to brought back to life....the last pic is a boat like mine in original condition.
I started restoration of this boat then ran out of time money and storage space....
I bought new, Starter, Excel Distributor and Coil, Alternator, Throttle cable, Trailer
Brakes and Axel, and few other parts 5 years ago at beginning of
restoration and has sat outside since. Burckley Jet pump was rebuilt
with less than 30 hours on it. Boat does not have place diverter.
Trailer is for a CVX-23 but has been reconfigured for the CVX-20.
The motor was blown when I bought the boat. The previous owner put a
460 from a Lincoln in it with a RV cam.. bolted it together and never
wired it up... I don't think it would run strong or at all...your
guess... The clear coat on the top (orange portion of the boat has been
stripped and the metal flake has started to silver (go bad) I would
just paint or gel the top portion of the boat the bottom of the hull is
in great condition except for a few scratches on the bottom by the intake and 1 minor
scratch in the bottom front from being trailer improperly, both very
minor and easy to repair. the windshield got cracked (I have heard of peaple repairing them or just running with out it.
BONUS- If i can dig them out of my father garage I have a matching Momo steering wheel and Gafrig gauge set - both NEW - If I still have them they will come with the boat.
I have an Eldabrock intake and almost new Holley 850 dbl pump marine carb that will be sold separately.......I will sell them to the person buying the boat cheep!!! if they are interested
