"After the Ball I" By Maglakelidze
This is a large Original Painting by Princess Ketevan Maglakelidze. The original painting is an oil painting on canvas, and is titled "After the Ball I."
Ketevan Maglakelidze was born in Tblisi, the capitol city of the Georgian Federation, into the royal family that for centuries ruled the country of Adzharia in the Caucasian Mountains. She focused on the arts at an early age and became an accomplished violinist by the age of seventeen. Her love of painting dominated, however, and she pursued that path. She has created beautiful images of elegant women, but is also acclaimed for her theatrical set designs, logo designs, mosaics and tapestries. This art is the first of several original works that the artist titled "After the Ball." The pieces were called "After the Ball I", After the Ball II," etc. Maglakelidze is married to Georgian artist Avtandil Makharoblidze. The 2008 art is hand signed by Ketevan Maglakelidze on the front of the canvas.
The painting dimensions are 24" X 30."
Included with the piece is a Certificate of Authenticity (COA.)
