ABOUT THIS MINIATURE QUILT
Quilt size: 2.5 inches (Width) x 3.5 inches (Height).
This auction is for an original art quilt ATC (artist trading card), sized 2.5" x 3.5".

This is the original one of a kind artwork, I don't make copies or repeats!
I can add a decorative loop for hanging this ACEO at no extra charge upon request to make it usable
as a Christmas ornament. It works great as an ornament because it is pretty on both sides!
This artwork may look like a painting, but it is made entirely of fabric and thread. I start with a
pencil drawing, and then find the fabrics and threads of just the right color
to create the right mood for each of the quilts. I love using hand-dyed cotton fabrics for the special
unique look. I use applique and thread painting embroidery to bring these creations to life! My favorite thread
to use is silk rayon because it is so beautiful and silky. I also use Sulky cotton and poly threads, they are a great
compliment to the silk rayon.
I finish the quilt with binding just like any full size quilt would be.
Hand turned and sewn binding and mitered corners finishes off the edges!
The back of this mini art quilt is pretty as well, I use color-coordinated hand-dyed fabrics as backing and border.
These little beauties take a lot of work and love to create! Photo does not show all the color subtleties and the texture of this piece! I love getting
comments that the piece was even prettier in person than the winner expected.
This is a perfect size for ACEO trading cards or doll house quilt.
This fibre art quilt comes from smoke-free pet-free environment.
The quilt is signed and dated on the back.
A letter of authenticity is included with each quilt auction win.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
I have been sewing and painting since I was 5 years old. I have participated in exhibitions both as
a painter as well as a traditional quilter. Art quilts allow me to combine two of my passions. For me, quilting is a
time away from daily stresses, it allows me to relax and enjoy the process. Each quilt is a result of a long, pleasant
process. It starts with idea, turns into a drawing, and then comes alive in fabric and thread. I recently celebrated
the making of my 600'th art quilt.
I also make custom quilts where the
design is based on your request, idea, or photo and then listed as a custom auction specifically for you.
