CC's Whimsies Returns for...
"You Are Never Too Old"
It has been a very long and winding road since CC's Whimsies last listed an item on EBAY, but with great happiness and healing heart, I would like to present to you my first of many Whimsies to come...
Up for auction tonight is a mixed media "Make Do"creation, " Your Never Too Old" Pumpkin... "You Are Never Too Old" measures approximately 11 inches tall by 9 inches wide. Black and cream ticking fabric was used to make the star that I planted atop a Vintage wooden spool. His head is hand painted muslin that has been layered with many layers of acrylics and needle sculpted features. "You Are Never Too Old's" eyes look a little weary but he has his black wool party hat with vintage buttons on, and ready to beg for candy with his metal sign "Trick or Treat" hanging from his neck. A good drenching of glass glitter, Vintage mica flakes, and a final dusting of super fine crystal glitter finish off this first magical piece of my "return". This piece will come signed and dated by me, Christy Meyers/CC's Whimsies. Thank you for your consideration.
